I win!

I don't even remember why I bothered to fill out a Bitpass customer satisfaction survey. Probably left-over good will from St. McCloud annointing it as the Chosen Micropayment System. I barely even remember that I did fill it out.

The email with the subject "Survey Winner" almost got tossed as spam, until it occurred to me to wonder why someone would bother to forge a Bitpass return address, rather than the usual endless stream of Paypal and SunTrust fakes.

Inside was a to-the-point request for my mailing address so they could send me the prize I'd won. I spent a while IMing with the Fruitbat, trying to figure out what the angle could be

Then I noticed that their latest newsletter had arrived last night. Inside I found:
