The idea was for it to be a four-letter compression for 'The first time I heard that one, I laughed so hard I fell off my dinosaur,' which I'm certainly aware is not new, but is a bit longwinded for the IM age.
Tragically, WYMWWM(pronounced whim-wum) never really caught on with anybody except the Fruitbat. It's short for "What you mean 'we,' white man?"
